Intimate Peeling Frequently Asked Questions
It typically takes several Intimate Peeling Treatments to see improvement on the skin.
While Intimate Peeling treatments are safe and effective for most women and men, there are some people who will not be good candidates for treatments.
- A person with Darier Skin– If you’re a person with a darier skin please be advised that the process is much slower, and more sessions are necessary.
- Herpes Simplex= If you have Herpes Simplex, we are unable to perform on the skin.
- If you have recently done any type of form of Hair Removal– Intimate Peeling treatment must be done two weeks before or two weeks after Laser Hair Removal and Waxing sessions. Intimate Peeling treatment must be done 3 days after shaving.
- Oral Retinoids– If you’re a person who’s taking Oral Retinoids. You must wait 3-6 months to receive intimate peeling.
- Pregnancy/Nursing– If you are Pregnant or Nursing you are advised to not receive any Intimate Peeling treatments. To date there have been no studies conducted to see what effects these treatments may have on the unborn child, but as a general rule, pregnant women should stay away from any type of cosmetic/elective procedures.
- Smoking: If you’re a person who smokes, please be advised that the process is much slower, and more sessions are necessary.
- Usage of Photosensitive Medications- If you’re a person who’s taking Photosensitive Medications, like St John’s Wort, Steroids, planificiden, etc. You must wait 3-6 months to receive intimate peeling.

Normal Effects During The Peeling:
- Sensation of burning
- Tearing

- Do not pick/scratch/touch the area for the first 24 hours
- Do not exercise or sweat excessively for the first 48 hours
- No Makeup/Lotion/Moisturizer/Deodorant for the first 24 hours
- Avoid the Sun extended UV exposure for 24 Hours
After two weeks you can remove hair with Laser Hair Removal. After 3 days you can remove hair with shaving.
