The laser emits light that is absorbed by the pigment (melanin) in the hair. This light energy is then converted to heat, which damages the hair follicles. This damage delays future hair growth for several months to years.
It is important not to exercise immediately afterward. Sweat accumulating in the area can lead to a stinging sensation that may persist for several hours.
The intensity of this discomfort varies depending on an individual’s pain tolerance.
Laser Hair Removal is a process that may differentiate in many people.Â

The laser hair removal prices vary according to the size of the areas that you wish to treat; we offer different prices for small, medium and large areas. So, we invite you to come to a free initial consultation in order to evaluate your skin, that way we can determine skin type and condition and hair type to be able to provide you with a personalized service.
At the consultation, we explain to you everything about the treatment, including costs and financing options.Â
The duration of each session varies depending on the area being treated, typically lasting between 15 to 30 minutes. It can be performed every 3 to 6 weeks, depending on the treated area.
Any person can undergo this treatment but minors must have parental consent.
There are some exceptions when there is a history of cancer, when the hair is too light, and in the case of pregnant women, where their treating physician does not authorize it. However, it is a purely aesthetic treatment, which, according to the protocol, should not affect the baby’s growth. For patient safety, we must obey medical recommendations.
The best time to schedule laser hair removal is during the fall and winter. This is due to the fact that during the fall and winter, your skin will have limited exposure to the sun and it’s proven that laser hair removal is more effective on pale skin and dark hair.
Avoid sun exposure to reduce the chance of dark or light spots for 2 weeks. Use sunscreen (SPF 30 or higher) throughout the treatment period and for 1-2 months following.
You can utilize Aloe Vera, renowned for its moisturizing, repairing, and soothing properties. This will also help alleviate any redness. If you experience significant discomfort after the procedure, please consider taking Tylenol.
Women are typically recommended to start Laser Hair Removal at age 16.
While Men are typically recommend to start at age 18.
Laser treatment does not require anesthesia.
Burns occur when the machine settings are too high, the skin is thinner than usual, darker in color, and/or has been treated with medications that could increase sensitivity to light.
If a burn occurs, it’s important to keep the affected area uncovered. Avoid covering it with clothing or bandages to allow the skin to breathe and prevent trapping heat. Keeping the skin cool is crucial.
During the first 24 hours, the skin will likely be painful and appear red. Applying cold compresses, such as a soft cloth soaked in ice-cold water, can help relieve discomfort. Avoid placing ice directly on the skin, as it could cause further damage.
Water blisters may develop as the body’s way of cooling the lower layers of skin. It’s important not to pop them and to allow the skin time to heal naturally.
Within a day or two, a scab will form over the burn. It’s important not to pick at the scab, as this can slow down the healing process. Additionally, try to protect the area from sun exposure to avoid further irritation.
